We're all about Golf and Recreation!!
Green Acres was established in 1968 by a group of ten local golfers and citizens who wanted to have a golf course close to their home. The original Green Acres was a 9-hole course. All local golfers had been traveling many miles to play golf. The second 9-holes were added in 1997. Green Acres is approximately 153 acres of beautiful tall Georgia pine trees. Live oak trees are also plentiful here in the Middle Georgia area. Our golf course offers a real challenge to the duffer as well as to the seasoned golfer. We offer rolling hills and undulating fairways. Tucked in and surrounded by these trees are 18 beautiful greens of all sizes and shapes guarded by bunkers which will offer a challenge to anyone. We have three beautiful ponds to enhance our club. Two of these ponds are for our members who occasionally like to wet a hook and teach worms to swim. Total yardage at Green Acres is 6,454 from the gold tees and down to 4,902 from the red tees. We are USGA slope rated Gold-123, Blue-121, Red-118.
