2009 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP

 

     After an exciting 1^st round in the Club Championship, Randy Tanner had a one shot lead over Jake
Savant after shooting a stellar round of 69.  Jake
Savant shot 70 and was hot on Randy’s heels when round 2 kicked off.  Waiting in the shadows, was Chris Calhoun after a fine round of 72 the first day.
                                When the first nine of the second round was
complete, it was game on between Randy Tanner, Jake Savant, Chris Calhoun, and Josh Savant. As the
tournament progressed to the back nine on Sunday, Chris Calhoun surged ahead with a final round of 69.  The others fell back other than Josh Savant who tried to put some heat on Chris with his final round 69.
     In addition to the Men’s Championship, Katarina Hodge ran away with the Ladies Championship with a fine score of 75 in the first round followed by a 79 in the second round.
     Congratulations to the Mens’ Club Champion and Ladies Club Champion!!
     Also Congratulations to Johnny Layton for winning the Senior Club Championship and to George Skinner for winning the Super Senior Club Championship.
Congrats go to Marion Berquist for being the Super Senior Ladies Club Champion as well!
